Hi, I’m Samantha McCarey, FNP-C, and I’m proud to serve the Lake Jackson community as a Family Nurse Practitioner and co-owner of Burns Family Practice.

My journey in healthcare began with my Associate Degree in Nursing from Galveston College, followed by my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch. I went on to earn my Master of Science in Nursing from The3 University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. Each step in my education strengthened my commitment to providing thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients of all ages.

Family is at the heart of everything I do – both personally and professionally. I believe healthcare should feel personal, relational, and rooted in trust. Caring for families across generations is one of the greatest honors of my career, and I strive to treat every patient the way I would want my own family cared for.

Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors – especially on the golf course. Golf gives me the chance to unwind, recharge, and enjoy friendly competition while soaking up time with the people I love most.
